Luella Bray, 93, formerly of Richland, died late Tuesday evening, Sept. 23, 2003, at Maplewood Manor in Keota.

A private funeral will be held Saturday at Gould Funeral Home in Richland, with Dick and Rose Kessler officiating. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery in Richland.

Open visitation will be from 3-7 p.m. Friday.

Memorials may be made to the Lightning and Thunder Ministry

Mrs. Bray was born Oct. 25, 1909, in Clear Creek, the daughter of August and Elizabeth Becker Adrian. She married Harold Bray, April 21, 1933, in Lancaster, Mo. He died March 23, 1993.

Mrs. Bray attended Clear Creek Schools and was a farm homemaker.

She was a member of Mother Cabrini Catholic Church and the Altar and Rosary Society in Richland.

Survivors include two stepdaughters, Betty Kessler of Burlington and Kathleen Horras of Richland; eight stepgrandchildren; and 17 stepgreat-grandchildnren.

Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; and two stepgrandchildren.
