Eva Irene O'LAUGHLIN

Eva Irene MECK, 72, Route 3, died at 6:45 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 7, 1995, at her home.

The service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Behner Funeral Home with the Rev. Thomas Clark officiating. Burial will be in Fell Cemetery at Libertyville. Visitation is open at the funeral home with the family present from 6-7 tonight. Memorials have been established to the Libertyville Senior Citizen Site and Jefferson County Hospice.

Mrs. MECK was born Sept. 16, 1922, in Fairfield, the daughter of Earl "Irish" and Minnie LAWSON O'LAUGHLIN. On Oct. 5, she married Lyle MECK in Lancaster, Mo. A lifelong resident of the Fairfield area, she helped her husband with their farm operations and was a homemaker. She attended Faith United Methodist Church.

Surviving are her husband; a daughter, Kathy FRESCOLN of Batavia; two grandchildren; two sisters, Mildred PITTMAN and Verda O'LAUGHLIN, both of Eldon; and a brother, Willard O'LAUGHLIN of Daytona Beach, Fla. Her parents, an infant daughter, an infant son, and two sisters, Kate KING and Opal VAN SANT, preceded her in death.
