CLARK Rites At Packwood

PACKWOOD --- Herbert Frederick CLARK, 60, Packwood died unexpectedly of a heart attack Saturday afternoon, Dec. 8. He had been in his usual health.

Funeral services will be Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. at the Packwood Methodist Church with Rev. Byron Newland officiating. Burial will be in Packwood Cemetery.

Herbert F. CLARK was born Feb. 5, 1913, near Abingdon. He was the son of William and Margaret SCHOOLEY CLARK. He was reared and educated in the Abingdon and Packwood Communities.

He was married Aug. 28, 1937, at Lancaster, Mo., to Lavada STAGERS. She survives.

Clark spent his entire life in the Packwood and Abingdon Communities where he was engaged in farming and raising livestock.

In addition to his widow, Clark is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Roger HANSON, Marion; one son, William CLARK, Lafayette, La.; a brother, Walter CLARK, Packwood; a niece.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, and a half-brother.

The family would appreciate memorials which may be left at the Raymond Funeral Home in Fairfield or the Farmers State Bank in Packwood. The casket will be taken from the Raymond Funeral Home to the church at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday.
