William Henry GOSSICK was born in Athens county, Ohio, November 6, 1858 and when about five years old came with his parents to Jefferson county where he has since resided.
On October 22, 1885 he was united in marriage to Miss Imogene (sic) BUSH in this city. To them were born three children, Alice, Mable and Hattie who with their mother are left to mourn the departure of the husband and father.
Mr. GOSSICK has lived near this city ever since he was married except a short time when he and his family resided on a farm about six miles southeast of Libertyville.
Mr. GOSSICK was one of the most highly esteemed men in this section of the county. He was a prosperous farmer and well liked among his neighbors and friends(.) To his children whom he idolized he was a most indulgent father and his death is a great blow to them and to his faithful wife.
