Charles HAYNES Rites Monday

Last rites will be Monday, April 30, for Charles E. HAYNES, retired Fairfield plumber who died Friday at the Jefferson County Hospital. He had been in failing health for some time.

The services Monday will be at 1:30 p.m. at the Raymond Funeral Home with Evangelist Darrel Bridgwater officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Lawn Cemetery.

Charles E. Haynes, 67, was born Jan. 24, 1906, in Jefferson County, the son of John and Mary BLUHM HAYNES (sic. father was Clarence Edward HAYNES). He was reared and educated in Fairfield, and was a plumber for many years.

He was married to Grace LAWSON who died in September, 1947. His marriage to Mildred MILES took place June 6, 1964, in Kahoka, Mo. He was a member of the Church of Christ.

Survivors include one son, Charles, Fairfield; five step-children, 19 grandchildren; also two brothers, Clyde, Lebanon, Mo., and Percy, Phoenix, Arizona; and a sister, Mrs. Earl HENDRICKS, Alexandria, La.

He was preceded in death by one brother.

Note: buried in Memorial Lawn Cemetery, Fairfield, Iowa. Lot Memorial 44 - space 4. Buried next to his first wife Grace, who has a headstone in place. Howver, Charles does not have a headstone in place for him.
