CHAS. KRUEGER RITES SUNDAY

(Charles) Emil Johann Adolf KRUEGER passed away last night at the home of his son, Joseph KRUEGER, in Batavia.

Funeral services will be held tomorrow, January 6 at the Batavia Christian church with Rev. Kenneth Ross officiating. Burial in Fairfield.

Mr. KRUEGER, the son of Herman and Sotta KRUEGER, was born in Putitz, Saxony, Germany, on March 31, 1864 and came to America at the age of thirteen years and settled in Burlington. He spent the past 26 years in Batavia. He was married May 16, 1881 to Alice BARBAUGH (sic - Alpha Alice CARBAUGH), who preceded him in death about nine years ago. He was also preceded by one sister, Mrs. Emma HILL of Eugene, Oregon, who passed away a year ago.

Survivors besides his son are two brothers, John of Oakland, California and Wilhelm of San Francisco.

The body is at the Campbell Hupp funeral home in Batavia.
