ANGSTEAD Rites Will Be Tuesday

Mrs. Ray D. ANGSTEAD, 84, rural route 1, passed away at 12:45 p.m Saturday at the Jefferson County Hospital.

She had been in failing health the past year and seriously ill the past three days. For the past ten months she had been a patient at the Park View Care Center.

Last rites will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the First Christian Church with the Rev. Ned Gillum in charge. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.

The family will receive friends tonight from 7:30 to 9 p.m. at the Raymond Funeral Home.

Elizabeth Pearl ANDERSON was born Oct. 23, 1888, in Jefferson County, the daughter of Charles A. and Cora Belle ARCHIBALD ANDERSON. She was reared and educated in Jefferson County nd lifed her entire life in the Fairfield area.

Her marriage to Raymond D. ANGSTEAD took place Nov. 7, 1906 in West Burlington. She was a member of the First Christian Church.

Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Mrs. Harry SHANER, Fairfield, and Mrs. Emert NEWLON, Crown Point, Ind.; five sons, Carl H., Bell, Calif.; Wilson R., San Bernadeno (sic - San Bernardino), Calif.; Donald, Mediapolis; Edward, Fairfield; and Glen, Fairfield; also 19 grandchildren, 66 great-grandchildren and one grear-great-grandchild.

Mrs. ANGSTEAD was preceded in death by one brother, one foster sister, three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
