B. David RANDOLPH

B. David RANDOLPH, 63, of rural Bonaparte, died at 12:16 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 28, 2011, at home.

A memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Bonaparte Baptist Church, with the Rev. Mark Caston officiating.

Family visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Friday at the church.

Memorials to Hospice of Southeast Iowa or Bibles for China may be left at the church or may be mailed to the family at 29579 Highway 2, Bonaparte 52620.

Arrangements are in the care of Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua.

Mr. RANDOLPH was born Aug. 19, 1948, in Panama City, Fla., the son of Stanley and Tracy JOHNSON RANDOLPH. He married Vickie JENKINS Aug. 28, 1972, at Farmington United Methodist Church.

Mr. RANDOLPH grew up in Mobile, Ala., and the Bonaparte and Bentonsport area. He graduated from Harmony High School in 1968. He was a rural letter carrier out of the Farmington Post Office. He also had worked at John's Food Center in Farmington.

Mrs. RANDOLPH served in the United States Air Force.

He was a member of Bonaparte Baptist Church.

Mr. RANDOLPH enjoyed spending time outdoors, especially fishing.

Survivors include his wife; his mother of Fort Madison; one son, Caleb RANDOLPH and wife Kelli of Douds; two grandchildren; two sisters, Rosemary RANDOLPH of Iowa City and Susan KREBILL of Donnellson; and two brothers, John RANDOLPH and James RANDOLPH.

He was preceded in death by his father.
