Jacqueline Ann 'Jackie' VICE

Jacqueline Ann "Jackie" VICE, 69, of rural Birmingham, died Monday, Sept. 26, 2011, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City.

In accordance with Mrs. VICE's wishes, cremation has been accorded, and no service is scheduled.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Association.

Mrs. VICE was born Dec. 1, 1941, in Chicago, Ill., the daughter of Frank and Florence Ann JOCH BARTOS. She married James L. VICE May 19, 1988, in Kahoka, Mo.

Mrs. VICE lived in Chicago, Florida, Texas and California before moving to Birmingham in 1975. She was a stay-at-home mom and farm wife. She also had worked as a waitress at Maid-Rite, Sandwich Shop, Copeland and Country Kitchen in Fairfield.

Mrs. VICE was a member of the Catholic faith.

Survivors include her husband; one daughter: Sheryl FORD and husband Jeff of Sioux City; one son: Jim MORRIS and wife Sandy of South Amana; nine grandchildren; one half sister: Nora MOHR of Florida; and two half brothers: Michael and Brian BARTOS, both of Florida.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother: Frank BARTOS.
