Joshua Michael Whitney, 23, of Tulsa, Okla., died Thursday, Sept. 4, 2003, in a car accident.

The funeral was held at 11 a.m. Monday at Asbury United Methodist Church in Tulsa. Burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery in Tulsa.

Mr. Whitney was a graduate of Bishop Kelley High School in Tulsa and a recent graduate of the University of Oklahoma. He worked for Wells Fargo Financial in Tulsa.

He was a member of the Pi Kappa Phi fraternity and an avid golfer.

Survivors include his parents, Mark and Sue Whitney of Tulsa; one sister, Jennifer and husband Tom of Springfield, Mo.; grandparents, Lewis and Mary Jane Whitney of Fairfield and LeRoy and Mary Hull of Moline, Ill.
