BATAVIA, Nov. 6. John WALKER, and old and respected citizen of this vicinity, died Sun. morning at his home s.e. of town, after a lingering illness of several months. Born in Jefferson Co., Iowa, Mar. 30 1849 (sic - 20th on his gravestone); married Miss Ruth A. DEAN Mar. 11 1873, who survives with two sons, J.E. and J.I. WALKER..... Interment in Gonterman Cemetery....
