DEATHS

LUCIAN OLIVER

PACKWOOD - Jan. 25 - Lucian OLIVER, brother of A. C. OLIVER (sic. Addison Cromwell OLIVER) and the late John G. OLIVER, passed away in Des Moines Wednesday morning (sic. January 22, 1936). Dave OLIVER of Ft. Madison, also a former resident here, is a brother. Mr. OLIVER was about 78 years of age. He with his family moved from here many years ago. His wife has been a patient in a Des Moines hospital since the holidays. Funeral services will be held at the (sic. unintelligible from microfilm copy) Funeral home in that city today.

Note: Lucian M OLIVER was buried at Resthaven Cemetery in West Des Moines, Polk county, Iowa. Section N, Lot 161, Space 2. According to cemetery listings his DOB year was 1859 and interred on January 25, 1936. His wife, Irene ESHELMAN OLIVER, was born about 1844 and was interred in the cemetery, same plot, space 2, on October 28, 1959. Presumably she died within a few days prior to interment, but the cemetery does not have an exact DOD record for her.
