Jack ESSARY

Jack ESSARY, 59, of Eldon, died at 4:55 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 8, 2011, at Ridgewood Nursing and Rehab Center in Ottumwa.

A graveside memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Eldon Cemetery, with the Rev. David Albert officiating.

A memorial fund is being established for Hospice of Monroe County.

Kremer Funeral Home in Eldon is assisting with arrangements.

Mr. ESSARY was born June 2, 1952, in Ottumwa, the son of Randolph and Mabel Louise MOORE ESSARY.

Mr. ESSARY was educated in the Eldon school system. He had worked as a mechanic, at the foundry, and also had been employed by the Rock Island Railroad.

He enjoyed visiting with people, Nascar racing, and riding his four-wheeler.

Survivors include one daughter, Dusty of Bloomfield; one son, Jason of Ottumwa; five grandchildren; two sisters, Lois BEDFORD of Eldon and Pat KLICKER of Blakesburg; and four brothers, Randolph ESSARY Jr. of Eldon, Gary Dean ESSARY of Abingdon, Charles LaVerne ESSARY of Polk City and Larry ESSARY of Brighton.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
