Garry L. COFFIN

Garry L. COFFIN, 65, of Stockport, died at 8:20 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 1, 2011, at home.

A funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua, with his brother Francis COFFIN officiating. Burial in Spencer Cemetery will be at a later date following cremation.

Family visitation will be 2-4 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Memorials to Hospice of Wapello County may be left at the funeral home or may be mailed to the family at P.O. Box 137, Stockport 52651.

Mr. COFFIN was born May 17, 1946, near Birmingham, the son of J. Raymond and Pauline POPE COFFIN. He married Doneen CARRICO Aug. 3, 1984.

Mr. COFFIN lived his life in the Birmingham and Stockport area. He had worked at American Chain & Cable Co. and as a machinist at The Nelson Co., both in Fairfield.

Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Jennifer HOLTHUS of Stockport and Daylyn KROCHAK and husband Philip of Brighton; one son, Philip WARD and wife Carol of Berthoud, Colo.; five grancdhilren; five brothers, Jack JACOBS of Cedar Rapids, Howard COFFIN of Iowa City, Francis COFFIN of Birmingham, James COFFIN and Danny COFFIN of Fairfield; and one sister, Linda FITZGERALD of Fairfield.

His parents preceded him in death.
