Emma PETERSON Taken In Death

Emma Sophia PETERSON, 81, 600 N. Main, died early Friday at the Good Samaritan home in Ottumwa. She had been seriously ill for 10 days.

Services are planned tentatively Sunday at 2:30 p.m. at the Raymond Funeral home. The Rev. Harold Kruger will officiate with burial in Salina cemetery.

A lifetime resident of this county, Miss PETERSON was born July 27, 1880 in Fairfield, the daughter of Andrew and Clara SWANSON PETERSON. She was reared in the Perlee community.

Miss PETERSON was a member of the Lutheran church. She is survived by a brother, Nelse E. PETERSON, Des Moines; and two sisters, Mrs. Ellen J. SCHILLERSTROM, Fairfield; and Mrs. Caroline KYNER, Casper, Who. (sic - Wyo.). Miss PETERSON made her home with Mrs. SCHILLERSTROM for the past 28 years.
