Janice H. TIMMINS

Janice H. TIMMINS, 73, died Monday, Aug. 22, 2011, at Bright Kavanagh House in Des Moines.

A memorial service will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Lutheran Church of the Cross in Altoona. Interment will be at 9:30 a.m. Friday at Berwick Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Thursday at Iles Funeral Homes Grandview Park Chapel.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Bright Kavanagh House.

Mrs. TIMMINS was born May 7, 1938, in Superior, the daughter of Thorben and Cora HOUGE.

Mrs. TIMMINS worked at K-Mart in the Des Moines area for 28 years as a bookkeeper and pharmacy technician.

Survivors include her husband, Paul; three children, Mike CORWIN and wife Joyce of West Des Moines, Kristyn COY of Pleasant Hill and Colleen DUBBERKE and husband Troy of Pleasant Hill; two sisters, Arlene NOURSE and Karen STOLTZ of Fairfield; two brothers, Thorben HOUGE and Everett HOUGE; and seven grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Evie.
