A LITTLE ONE GONE

Friends and neighbors were shocked to hear of the death of little Alice LIBLIN which occured last evening. The little one was the only child of the late Martin LIBLIN (sic. Martin Joseph LIBLIN, who died Sept. 22, 1904 and is also buried in Evergreen cemetery, as is the mother who was Mary Alice "Mollie" GILBERT LIBLIN) and its sudden death comes as an awful blow to the grief stricken mother. Little Alice was taken very ill yesterday morning early and died in the evening. The immediate cause of her death being diphtheria. The funeral occured this afternoon at 2 o'clock and was necessarily strickly (sic. strictly) private. Hosts of friends extend their sympathies of Mrs. LIBLIN.

* Transcribed for genealogy purposes. I am not related to the person(s) mentioned.

Note: Full given name believed to be Alice Almira LIBLIN. Buried in Evergreen cemetery, Farifield, Iowa. Old.P.139.
