RICHLAND -- Anita KELLY, 85, of Richland, died Wednesday, Dec. 2, 1992, at Jefferson County Hospital in Fairfield.

The funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Mother Cabrini Church in Richland with the Rev. John Stack officiating. Prayers for a Christian wake will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Friday at the church. Her body has been donated to the University of Osteopathic Medicine in Des Moines. A memorial has been established to Richland Public Library. Gould Funeral Home in Richland is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. KELLY was born March 8, 1907, at Carroll, the daughter of Robert and Frances LUCEY HAMILL. She graduated from Carroll High School, attended St. Angela Academy at Carroll, and attended a junior college for two years. She married A. Joe KELLY on Aug. 27, 1930. He died March 31, 1987. She was associated with her husband as owner and editor of the Richland Clarion for __ (edge of column trimmed off) years. She was a member of Mother Cabrini Church and the Altar and Rosary Society. The couple moved to Richland in 1950. She had resided at Parkview Care Center since May, 1991.

Surviving are a daughter, Jan HORRAS of Richland; two sons, Kimball R. of Fairfield, Kerry G., of Davenport; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. A son, Dennis, a daughter, Joyce BROWN, and five infant children preceded her in death.
