Walter 'Bill' William REGNIER Jr.

Walter "Bill" William REGNIER Jr., age 54, of Fairfield, passed away Tuesday, August 2, 2011 at his home.

A Celebration of Life will be held at The Walton Club on Saturday, August 6, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. The body has been cremated.

Memorials may be made to The Walton Club or The Trojan Booster Club. Cards and memorials can be sent to 805 S. 5th St. Fairfield, Iowa 52556.

Bill was born on February 10, 1957 in Unionville, Missouri to Walter William and Genevie NAPPEL REGNIER. He married Desiree CONKEL on April 17, 1982 in Burlington, Iowa.

Bill was a signal inspector for BNSF Railroad. He was a member of Walton Club, Elks #1192 and HOG Riders. He enjoyed Iowa Hawkeye Football, Kansas City Chiefs, St. Louis Cardinals, golfing, NASCAR, weight lifting and riding his Harley Davidson (sic).

Bill is survived by his mother: Genevie HARTMAN; wife: Desiree; 1 son: William REGNIER of Fairfield; 1 half-brother: Terry REGNIER of Huron, South Dakota; 3 step-brothers: Ronnie, Larry and Bobbie HARTMAN and 1 step-sister: Carole TOOTHMAN.

He was preceded in death by his father: Walter REGNIER; step-father: Gerald HARTMAN and his grandparents.
