Rites for M. BENNETT

Services for Mabel A. BENNETT, 96, 508 E. Adams, will be 11 a.m. Thursday at the Behner Funeral Home with the Rev. Keith Lingwall officiating. Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery.

Mrs. BENNETT died at 8 a.m. Tuesday at the Jefferson County Hospital after being a patient for only one day.

The daughter of Henry and Caroline KNERR SCHMADAKA, she was born April 14, 1884 in Germanville. She married Harry E. BENNETT on July 31, 1913 in Fairfield; he died November 2, 1951. She was also preceded in death by five sisters. Survivors include one niece, Osie MANNHARDT, Fairfield.

Mrs. BENNETT was a lifetime resident of Jefferson County, and member of the First Lutheran Church in Fairfield.

NOTICE OF PROBATE OF WILL, OF APPOINTMENT OF EXECUTOR, AND NOTICE TO CREDITORS

IN THE DISTRICT COURT OF THE STATE OF IOWA IN AND FOR JEFFERSON COUNTY

IN THE MATTER OF THE ESTATE OF MABEL BENNETT, A.K.A MABEL A. BENNETT, DECEASED.

TO ALL PERSONS INTERESTED IN THE ESTATE OF MABEL BENNETT, A.K.A MABEL A. BENNETT, DECEASED:

YOU ARE HEREBY NOTIFIED THAT ON THE 18TH DAY OF APRIL, 1980, THE LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT OF MABEL BENNETT, DECEASED BEARING DATE OF THE 3RD DAY OF APRIL, 1980, WAS ADMITTED TO PROBATE IN THE ABOVE NAMED COURT AND THAT ORVILLE L. PRILL WAS APPOINTED EXECUTOR OF SAID ESTATE.

NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN THAT ANY ACTION TO SET ASIDE SAID WILL MUST BE BROUGHT IN THE DISTRICCT COURT OF SAID COUNTY WITHIN SIX MONTHS FROM THE DATE OF THE SECOND PUBLICATION OF THIS NOTICE, OR THEREAFTER BE FOREVER BARRED.

NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN THAT ALL PERSONS INDEBTED TO SAID ESTATE ARE REQUESTED TO MAKE IMMEDIATE PAYMENT TO THE UNDERSIGNED, AND CREDITORS HAVING CLAIMS AGAINST SAID ESTATE SHALL FILE THEM WITH THE CLERK OF THE ABOVE NAMED DISTRICT COURT, AS PROVIDED BY LAW, DULY AUTHENTICATED, FOR ALLOWANCE; AND UNLESS SO FILED WITHIN SIX MONTHS FROM THE SECOND PUBLICATION OF THIS NOTICE (UNLESS OTHERWISE ALLOWED OR PAID) SUCH CLAIM SHALL THEREAFTER BE FOREVER BARRED.
