Ida Mae HEISE

Ida Mae HEISE, 89, formerly of Fairfield, died this morning, Wednesday, June 29, 2011, at Good Samaritan Society-Van Buren in Keosauqua.

A service will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at First United Methodist Church in Fairfield, with the Rev. Nate Nims officiating. Cremation will follow, and private family interment will be at a later date at Evergreen Cemetery in Fairfield.

Family visitation will be 12:30-1:30 p.m. Friday at the church.

A memorial to First United Methodist Church has been established in lieu of flowers. Online condolences may be sent at www.raymondfuneralhomes.com .

Arrangements are in the care of the Raymond Funeral Home in Fairfield.

Mrs. HEISE was born Aug. 7, 1921, in Kahoka, Mo., the daughter of Glen and Myrtle Mae DANNENHAUER BACUS. She married Ray William HEISE Aug. 9, 1941, in Kahoka, Mo. He died June 4, 1992.

Mrs. HEISE lived 10 years in Kahoka before moving to Farmington, where she graduated from Farmington High School in 1939. She moved to Libertyville in 1957 and to Fairfield in 1967. She had worked at Gamble's Store in Fairfield.

Mrs. HEISE was a member of First United Methodist Church in Fairfield.

Survivors include one son, David HEISE and wife Susan of Corinth, Texas; one daughter, Janice MORRIS and husband Ron of Stockport; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and one sister, Anna BRUBAKER of Toledo, Ohio.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Bernard BACUS; and one granddaughter.
