Edmund L. ELLER died at his late residence, two miles west of Pekin, Tuesday evening May 29, 1900, aged 54 years. Funeral services held at the Competine church Wednesday at 11 o'clock, followed by interment in the Competine cemetery. Was a well known Polk township farmer, having resided in this locality since 1853. .... Born in Wilkes County, North Carolina in 1846. In 1885 married Miss Emma PECK; two children survive with the wife....
