A WELL KNOWN TEACHER GONE.

Frank W. MYERS, who had been a teacher in the schools of Jefferson County for ten years or more, died at Brookville Saturday (sic - Sunday) after a long illness from consumption. He was a son of Richard MYERS of Polk township and was born and reared in Jefferson County. His age was 29 years. Mr. MYERS was married to Sylva (sic - Sylvia) WHITE Sept. 7, 1893, and his wife and two or three children survive him. Mr. MYERS was an energetic school worker and had a wide acquaintance among the teachers of the county. They will very generally regret to learn of his death. The remains were interred at Abingdon yesterday, funeral services being held at that place.

*Transcribed for genealogy purposes; I am not related to the person(s) mentioned.

Note: Wife Sylvia remarried to Charles SHANER; she died in 1956 and is buried in Abingdon Cemetery with Frank but under the SHANER name.
