MRS. S. HELTON DIED TODAY.

Pioneer resident of county; Funeral Tomorrow Afternoon From Abingdon.

Mrs. Susannah HELTON died yesterday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at her home in Abingdon... Funeral services will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2:30 o'clock from the Abingdon Church in charge of Rev. F. K. Coats of Washington. Interment will be made in the Abingdon Cemetery. Mrs. HELTON was born in Virginia November 22, 1840, being almost 84 years old. She was preceded in death by her husband several years ago, and also by a son, Arch. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Nannie SCOTT of this city, and a sister, Mrs. Mary CALDWELL and nephew Poll, and two brothers, William GOBBLE of Packwood and E. M. GOBBLE of Sedalia, Missouri. Mrs. HELTON had been a resident of Jefferson County for over 60 years.
