DEATHS

John M. HARPER

John M. HARPER, 507 East Burlington street, passed away this morning at 5:20 at the Jefferson County hospital. Mr. HARPER had been ill for over a year and had been a patient at the hospital for over six months. A complication of diseases caused his death.

Mr. HARPER was born in Ohio and came to Jefferson county about forty years ago. With his father, he was interested in the development of Kansas in the early seventies and dealt to some degree in real estate here in the early days.

He is survived by his wife, three children, L. D. HARPER of Minneapolis, Minn., Mrs. H. M. TRUESDALE and Miss Myrtle HARPER, and by his two brothers in this city, O. A. HARPER and A. K. HARPER.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2:30.
