The body of Mrs. Ellen O'BRIEN WHEELER was interred in the Evergreen cemetery, this city, Friday afternoon. Mrs. WHEELER died at the home of her son, E. R. O'BRIEN, the well known C.B. & Q. conductor, at Burlington Tuesday morning. She was a resident of this city for twenty years of more previous to 1879. She was born in County Antrim, Ireland, February 15th, 1819, and came to the United States when a child of seven years. She was married to Edward O'BRIEN at Baltimore, Md., in 1836, the husband dying in 1854. The mother came to Fairfield with three children in 1856. The son and one daughter, Mrs. J.H. TITUS of Norway, survive her, the other daughter, Ella, dying in 1888. In 1875 Mrs. O'BRIEN was married to Alexander WHEELER, a well known farmer who lived north of this city. After his death, about 1878, she removed to Burlington. ... Presbyterian church....
