DEATH TAKES MRS. HARPER

Widow of James HARPER Summoned Today; Funeral Incomplete

Mrs. Alice Matilda HARPER, 70, widow of James HARPER, passed away at noon today in her home following an illness of seven months duration. The body was taken to the Hoskins Funeral Home pending funeral arrangements.

Mrs. HARPER was preceded in death by her husband in March 1933. She is survived by the following children: Henry, Fred, Nova and Charles of this city; John, George and Mrs. Fred LATHROP of Davenport. She also leaves the following brothers and sisters: William HINES of Pollock, Mo., Mick HINES of Richland, Ellis HINES of Newton, Mo., Wesley of Fairfield, and Kate HINES of Des Moines.

HARPER Services At 2:30 Tomorrow From Funeral Home

Funeral services for Mrs. James HARPER, who passed away at noon yesterday following an extended illness, will be held at 2:30 o'clock tomorrow afternoon from the Hoskins Funeral Home.

Rev. S. P. Williamson will have charge of the services. Interment will take place in Evergreen cemetery.

... George HARPER of Davenport, spent a few days last week with his mother Mrs. Alice HARPER who is quite ill. She remains about the same at this writing.
