Well-Known Fairfield Woman Dies Following StrokeHannah E. SCHILLERSTROM, widow of Charles O. SCHILLERSTROM, passed away at 1:30 a.m. today at the home of her son, Gust C. SCHILLERSTROM, 600 N. Main street. She suffered a stroke about 6:30 Sunday evening. Another son, Harry SCHILLERSTROM and wife arrived here Sunday from Pembine, Wis., planning to leave today accompanied by their mother to spend the summer with them in Pembine.
Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock from the Hoskins Funeral Home in charge of Dr. W. F. Rex. Burial in Union cemetery southeast of Fairfield.
Mrs. SCHILLERSTROM was born May 26, 1848 in Sweden. She was a resident of Fairfield for fifty-six years. Mr. SCHILLERSTROM preceded her in death March 17, 1936. She is survived by the two sons and six grandchildren.

MRS. C. O. SCHILLERSTROM
Hannah A. PETERSON, the daughter of Carl PETERSON and wife, was born in Tjillmo (Shelma), Sweden, May 26, 1848, and departed this life at the home of her son, Gust C. SCHILLERSTROM, June 23, 1936, at the age of 88 years and 27 days.
She was confirmed a member of the Lutheran church in Sweden, with a class of 77, when 14 years of age. She was next to the oldest of seven children, all but one brother, preceded her in death. She came to America at the age of 20. She has been a resident of Fairfield for 56 years, was married to Charles O. SCHILLERSTROM Nov. 23, 1876 at Glendale, Iowa.
The home of Mr. and Mrs. C. O. SCHILLERSTROM was blessed with eight children, only two remain. Gust C. of Fairfield and Harry A. of Pembine, Wis., six passed away in early life, three boys and three girls. She is survived by six grandchildren, Eleen of Fairfield, Joyce, Ralph, Rosalie, Charlotte, and Carl of Pembine, Wis., and three cousins, Charles and Gust JOHNSON of Salina and Mrs. Charles HENNESS near Fairfield. In a few more months she would have observed her 60th wedding anniversary. Her husband preceded her in death, March 17, 1936. She was a very devoted and loving wife and mother, with a friendly and happy disposition towards her neighbors and friends.
Funeral services were held on June 25, at the Hoskins funeral home in Fairfield, in charge of Dr. W. F. Rex. Burial was in a cemetery near Parsonsville (sic - Union Cemetery).
