McIntire Rites Set

James E. McINTIRE, 64, former Fairfield resident, died Friday at Gassville, Ark.

The son of David and Anna DESPAIN McINTIRE, he was born Feb. 18, 1911 in Fairfield. Reared in the same community, he married Eva DWYER on March 26, 1949. The couple had lived the past 10 years in Arkansas. McINTIRE was a veteran of WWII.

Surviving are his wife; one daughter, Brenda Jean at home; one sister, Mrs. Edna BARNES of Fairfield and two brothers, Harley of Gassville and Leonard of Muscatine. One daughter and seven brothers preceded him in death.

Services will be Tuesday, 10 a.m. at Weston Behner Funeral Home with the Rev. R. Keith Lingwall officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. The family will be at Weston Behner Funeral Home tonight at 7:30 p.m. for visitation.
