DEATH OF MRS. CHILCOTT.
The following is sent us from Salina: Mrs. Missouri, wife of Reuben CHILCOTT, died at Salina, February 6th, in the 70th year of her age (sic - in her 71st year). The maiden name of deceased was GREENLAND, and she was born in Huntingdon County, Penn., Sept. 13th, 1815. She was married to Reuben CHILCOTT Sept. 21st, 1834, and with her husband removed to Jefferson County, Iowa, in November, 1853. She was the mother of seven children, five of whom are now living. The remains were interred in the family cemetery, north of Salina, Rev. A. D. Richards, pastor of the M.E. church, conducting the services, and a large concourse of friends following the body to the grave.

Note: Buried at Chilcott Cemetery. Husband Reuben died in 1889 and is buried there as well.
