On Sunday Mr. William GEORGE, near Salina, was caught under a tree he had felled and both legs broken. Mr. GEORGE is an Adventist, which accounts for his being at ordinary work on that day..... Dr. Nugent, an M.D. as well as a divine, who was preaching that day at Salina, attended the wounded man.....

SALINA -- Mr. William GEORGE died at his home in Salina Saturday, Feb. 4, 1888 at 4:30 P.M. Mr. GEORGE was born in Union County, Indiana Sept. 7, 1836, and came to Iowa when but a boy; was married seven years ago to Miss Ellen JOHNSON. Leaves wife and three little girls, a brother, Jonathan GEORGE, living in west part of the state, and four sisters living. A large procession followed to the cemetery east of Salina.....
