HIRAM HEATON DIES FOLLOWING INJURIES RECEIVED IN A FALL.

Death occurred last Friday (May 19) at the Washington County Hospital. ... Mr. HEATON was never married. He is survived by a nephew, Col. Wilson HEATON of this city, and two nieces, Mrs. Elizabeth WHITNEY of Tabor, and Miss Abigail HEATON, a teacher in the Davenport Public Schools.... The Tribune feels Mr. HEATON's death as a personal loss as he has been a valued contributor to this paper for many years.

Woodthrush Park is left to city by Hiram HEATON.... The will of Hiram HEATON is found to leave a number of bequests characteristic of Mr. HEATON.... Makes provision for the erection of a suitable monument to himself at the Glasgow cemetery, and says: "It will be agreeable to me if my executors place thereon an inscription stating the fact that in my fiftieth year I memorized all of Tennyson's 'In Memoriam'."
