Pg. 6Death Comes To William McINTIRE
William L. McINTIRE, 82, lifetime resident of this community, passed away at 7 a.m. this morning in the University hospital at Iowa City where he had been a patient the past four months.
The body was returned to the Weston Behner funeral home early this afternoon and funeral arrangements are pending.
William L. McINTIRE was the son of the late John and Sarah SIRDOREUS McINTIRE. He spent most of his life in this community and never married.
He is survived by three sisters: Mrs. Julius WENOS and Mrs. Ole WENOS, both of Moline; and Mrs. Katherine WOOLSEY, East Moline; also two brothers, Harry McINTIRE, Fairfield, and A. L. MORTON, Oxford, N.Y., who was adopted by McINTIRE's parents when a small boy. He is also survived by a number of nephews and nieces, several of them residing in the Fairfield area.
He was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.
