Eloise Beatrice BAUMGARTNER

Eloise Beatrice BAUMGARTNER, 94, of rural Sigourney, died Tuesday, April 5, 2011, at her daughter's home hear Sigourney.

A private family service will be held at a later date. The body has been cremated.

Memorials may be made to Ollie Baptist Church, Sigourney Public Library or Stephen Memorial Animal Shelter in Oskaloosa.

Mrs. BAUMGARTNER was born May 15, 1916, in Linby, the daughter of Orville and Ruby HALE RUGGLES. She married Glenn Robert BAUMGARTNER in 1948 at the Little Brown Church in Nashua.

Mrs. BAUMGARTNER graduated from Packwood High School in 1932. She grew up in the Packwood and Linby area and lived most of her life in the Ollie area. She owned and operated Eloise's Beauty Shop in Ollie.

Mrs. BAUMGARTNER was a member of Ollie Baptist Church.

Survivors include one daughter, Cynthia WAECHTER and husband Gary of Sigourney and three grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Douglas Glenn BAUMGARTNER; one brother, Cedric RUGGLES; and one sister, Edrith GRIMES.
