Sherry Lynn FOREMAN

Sherry Lynn FOREMAN, 54, of Pembroke, Ky., died from cancer Sunday, Feb. 27, 2011, at home.

A memorial service was held by American Legion Post 233 in Oak Grove, Ky. In accordance with Ms. FOREMAN's wishes, her body has been cremated and the ashes will be returned to Iowa, where her children will hold a private service at a later date.

Memorials to her grandchildren may be sent to Rodger Foreman at 316 N. Third St., Apt. 1, Albia 52531.

Ms. FOREMAN was born Aug. 30, 1956, in San Bernardino, Calif., the daughter of Carl MULLINS and Monica MULLINS.

In 1966, Ms. FOREMAN's family moved to Bonaparte, and she graduated from Harmony High School in 1974.

She was a member of the Bonaparte Baptist Church.

Ms. FOREMAN enjoyed reading, crafting, gardening, drawing and composing poems and stories.

Survivors include her husband, Kelley ROHN; two sons, Rodger L. FOREMAN and wife Jenni of Albia and Brian W. FOREMAN, serving in the U.S. Army in Iraq; one daughter, Julie RUBEL and husband Justin of Albia; three grandchildren; one brother, David of California; her father of Texas; and her mother of Albia.
