Charles BLAKELY, a resident of this county, eight miles north of Fairfield, from 1841 to 1874, died December 14th, in Washington township, Taylor County, this state, of lung fever. Mr. BLAKELY was a native of Warren County, Tenn., and was in his 78th year. In his 18th year he was married to Licetta LEMONS, aged 16, who survives him. Mr. and Mrs. BLAKELY would have celebrated their 59th wedding anniversary had he lived until January 1st. To them were born 10 children, six of whom are now living.
