Nathan K. HEWETT died at his home in Chariton early Thursday morning. Native of Newark, Ohio, 71 years of age. Civil War, Co. H, 3 Ohio Inf.... A wife and two children, Alpheus and Mrs. Etta S. CLARK, survive. He was a brother of Mrs. Mary A.K. WILSON, Mrs. J.H. VOORHIES and Mrs. Ann DENNIS of this city. Bur. Chariton (sic - Lucas Co., IA).
