Nancy E. GRAVES, 76, of Douds, died Friday evening, March 11, 2011, in Iowa City.
A service will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Pedrick Funeral Home in Douds, with the Rev. Ann Donat officiating. A graveside service will be at approximately 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at Independent Order of Odd Fellows Cemetery in Indianola.
Open visitation began at 2 p.m. today at the funeral home, with the family present from 5-7 p.m.
Memorials to Iowa City Hospice may be left at the funeral home or may be mailed to Ron GRAVES, 91, Heron Circle, Iowa City 52245.
Mrs. GRAVES was born Nov. 17, 1934, in Indianola, the daughter of Ralph and Mable GILLILAND. She married Ronald GRAVES in Indianola.
Mrs. GRAVES graduated from Indianola High School in 1952. She completed her training as a registered nurse at Iowa Lutheran School of Nursing in Des Moines in 1955. She lived much of her life in Fairfield, where she raised her family and worked as a nurse.
Mrs. GRAVES was a member of the Home Circle Club in Douds.
Survivors include her husband; one daughter, Anita RICE and husband Kevin of Iowa City; two sons, Steven GRAVES and wife Sallie of Brighton and Jon GRAVES and wife Kathy of Ankeny; and five grandchildren.
