"Robert W. Griffith, born Sussex Co., Del. Sept 22 1804. . . . .died at his home four miles west of town Mon. morning. Dec. 27, 1832 married Miss Eleanor Long, who survives. Also leaves 12 children. . . . .one is Isabel, wife of T. A. Whitacre. . . . .bur. Brighton Cemetery."
