"Clayton O. Turner, born in Henry County Dec. 31 1879, son of Samuel M. and Caroline Nason Turner, married June 23, 1902 Addie Dysart of Packwood. Retired merchant and resident of Pleasant Plain for the past 44 years. Died at his home Friday. Funeral at Friends Church at Pleasant Plain. Survivors include wife, one sister, Mrs. Elsie Sinn of Pleasant Plain, one grandson, and the following children: Mrs. Cecile Falert of St. Louis, Harry T. Turner of Pleasant Plain, Mrs. Beatrice McKee of Keokuk, and Mrs. Beulah Brinton of St. Louis. One sister, and a brother preceded him in death. Member Friends Church and Masonic Lodge."
