Illness Fatal To Mrs. DeGOOD, 64

ABINGDON - Mrs. Vera DeGOOD, 64, who spent her entire life in Jefferson county near Abingdon, died this morning in Jefferson County Hospital following an illness of several years.

Mrs. DeGOOD was born in this county in 1889, the daughter of Curtis and Eva MYERS. She was married to Ralph DeGOOD in 1908.

Survivors are her husband and one son, Leo, of Batavia; her mother, Mrs. Eva MYERS, also of Batavia; two brothers Ralph MYERS, Fremont, and Leonard MYERS, Andalusia, Ill. She was preceded in death by her father, three brothers and one sister.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Abingdon Christian church in charge of the Rev. Sam P. Williamson. Burial will be in the Abingdon cemetery.

The body is at the Campbell Funeral chapel in Batavia.

The time of the funeral service was indicated with a number, which appears to be "2", but it is within the margin of error that the number was "3" instead.
