Anthony J. (Tony) KELLER, 84, lifetime Jefferson county farmer, died at his home nine miles southeast of Fairfield at 5 a.m. today. He had been in failing health for a year and seriously ill the last two weeks.
Funeral services will be held at St. Mary Catholic church at 9 a.m. Thursday. The Rev. O.F. DeCoursey will celebrate the mass and give the sermon. Burial will be in Memorial Lawn cemetery with the Rev. Francis Henricksen in charge of the committal service. The Rosary will be recited at the Weston Behner funeral home Wednesday at 8 p.m. with the Rev. Henricksen in charge.
Anthony KELLER was born in Jefferson county Dec. 7, 1875, the son of Anthony and Mary DROZ KELLER. He was married to Sylvia P. LOVING April 2, 1902, at Fairfield. He was a member of St. Mary Catholic church.
Survivors are his wife; a daughter, Mrs. Albert DROZ, Elgin, Ill.; a son, John R. KELLER, Fairfield; nine grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Also surviving are a sister, Mrs. Sam KING of Wilton Junction, and a brother, John H. KELLER, Route 3.

Note: His gravestone shows the birth year of 1874, but he is noted as born in 1875 in this obituary. His wife Sylvia died in 1977. They are buried in Lot Devotion B 96, he in space 5 and she in space 6.
