DEATH TAKES MRS. HAYNES

Mrs. Charles HAYNES, 35, life-long resident of the Fairfield community, passed away at the Jefferson county hospital Friday evening at 11:30 p.m. after a serious illness of four days.

Graveside services will be held at the Memorial Lawn cemetery Tuesday at 2 p.m. with the Rev. S. P. Williamson in charge. The body will lie in state at the Weston Behner funeral home from Monday evening until time for the services Tuesday.

Mrs. HAYNES was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank LAWSON. She was born March 18, 1912, in Jefferson county. She was united in marriage to Charles E. HAYNES on December 25, 1931. Mrs. HAYNES was a members (sic) of Rebekah Lodge No. 386.

Besides her husband, she is survived by one son, Charles Leroy, 11 years old, and her mother, Ethel LAWSON. Her father preceded her in death.

She is also survived by the following five sisters: Mrs. Nina JEAGER, Harper, Iowa; Mrs. Alberta CARRUTHERS, Douds; Mrs. Frances HAYNES, Fairfield; Mrs. Dorothy MOORE, Fairfield; Mrs. Betty SHEROD, Keosauqua; and three brothers, Milton LAWSON, Harper, Iowa; Walter LAWSON, Liberal, Kansas; and Robert A. LAWSON, Fairfield.
