Kathryn GRABER Taken In Death; Service Monday

Kathryn Olive GRABER, 87, former resident of this community, died this morning in a Marshalltown hospital (note: in Marshall Co., IA).

Services will be held Monday at 10 a.m. at the Weston Behner Funeral home.

Miss GRABER made her home in Burlington for many years where she served as public school nurse. She was born in Jefferson county Jan. 30, 1877, the daughter of Jacob and Amanda GRABER. She was a member of Unit R, a local medical group which served with the U.S. Army in France during World War I.

Surviving are the following sisters and brothers: Laura M. BALL and James A. GRABER, Wapato, Wash.; Mrs. Minnie B. WEIRTH, Auburn, Wash.; and Mrs. Florence THOMPSON, Fredericksburg, Iowa.

Two sisters and two brothers are deceased.
