Mrs. Grace GOW, 84, died at 5:30 a.m. to day at the Holland Nursing home in Mt. Pleasant.
Mrs. GOW lived in Fairfield for many years. She was the widow of John C. GOW who died July 17, 1933. She is survived by one son, Walter GOW, Moline, Ill.
The body is at the Hoskins Funeral home. Last rites are pending.

FAIRFIELD.--Mrs. John GOW, aged Fairfield resident, died at 5:30 a.m. today in the Holland nursing home in Mt. Pleasant, where she had been for some time (note: in Henry Co., IA).
Surviving is a son Walter GOW of Moline.
The body is at the Hoskins funeral home.

FAIRFIELD. -- Funeral rites will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Hoskins funeral home for Mrs. John C. GOW, 84, a life-time resident of Jefferson County Dr. J. Henry Teele will conduct the service and burial will be in Evergreen cemetery.
Mrs. GOW died suddenly Tuesday at 5:30 a.m. in the Holland nursing home in Mt. Pleasant where she had been for some time.
She was the former Grace GREENLAND, daughter of Hiram and Sarah CAMPBELL GREENLAND and was born in Batavia November 26, 1871.
She was married in 1901 to John C. GOW and they lived near Fairfield for a time and then moved here. He died July 17, 1933. One daughter also preceded her in death.
She is survived by one son, Walter GOW of Moline, Ill. She was a long-time member of the First Methodist church.
