Delores Ann 'Dee' OTIS

Delores Ann "Dee" OTIS, 75, formerly of Fairfield, died from melanoma Wednesday, Feb. 16, 2011, at home.

A memorial service will be held Saturday at the family's home, 3929 E. Cholla St., Phoenix, AZ 85028. The body has been cremated.

Mrs. OTIS was born Aug. 21, 1935, in Boone, the daughter of William J. and Katherine LYONS COFFEY. She married William B. OTIS Oct. 27, 1956, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Boone.

The OTISes lived in Fairfield during the 1960s while Mr. OTIS managed Big E Lumber Company. The couple moved to Nebraska in March 1971.

Mrs. OTIS enjoyed playing bridge, reading and swimming.

Survivors include her husband; one daughter, Mary BOETTCHER and husband Erwin of Littleton, Colo.; one son, Michael OTIS of Phoenix, Ariz.; and four grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one infant daughter and one brother, William.
