Charles A. SUMMERS, 80, died suddenly at his home, 205 E. Burlington street, yesterday morning.
He was born September 9, 1868 in Bloomington, Illinois, and was married January 7, 1891 to Ru Alice WARD in Anchor, Illinois. His entire married life was spent in Jefferson county.
He was a member of the Christian church in Fairfield for many years.
He is survived by his wife and one daughter, Mrs. Marie MALO, of Chicago, and one grandson, Clarence MALO, of California.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 4 p.m. in the Hoskins funeral home. The Rev. S. P. Williamson will have charge.
Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery. The body is at the Hoskins funeral home.
