MRS. MAASDAM IS SUMMONED

Well Known Jefferson County Woman Died This Morning

Mrs. J. G. MAASDAM passed away at her home one mile south of the city, at 11 o’clock this morning. She had been in poor health for the past two weeks.

Funeral arrangements are not completed at this time.

Mrs MAASDAM has lived in Jefferson county for twenty-five years, moving here from Pella. Besides her husband she is survived by the following children: William, Elizabeth and Marie of Fairfield and Fred of Richland. She also leaves two grandchildren.

Note: Catherine’s maiden name was WAGAMAN. Husband Jacob Gesset MAASDAM died in 1944. They are buried in Evergreen Cemetery, Fairfield, Lot 3rd.081.
