MRS. HOSWELL DIES TODAY

Funeral services at Behner Funeral Home Monday, 2 p.m.

Mrs. W. C. HOSWELL, well-known resident of this community for over 64 years passed away at 8:45 this morning at her home, 607 N. D street. She had been in failing health for the past five or six years, but was taken seriously ill on March 8 of this year.

Funeral services will be held from the Weston Behner Funeral Home on Monday afternoon at 2:00 o’clock (sic), with the Rev. S. P. Williamson in charge. Interment will be in Evergreen cemetery.

Mrs. HOSWELL was born on April 12, 1868, in Wolworth (sic – Walworth) county, Wis. She was the daughter of the late Hezekiah and Kate LIPPITT. On October 10, 1906, she was united in marriage to W. C. HOSWELL, in Fairfield.

She was a faithful member of the First Christian church of Fairfield, and of the Fairfield Rebekah Lodge No. 96, Rebekah Circle, and the Past Noble Grand’s Club.

Surviving are her husband, W. C. HOSWELL, who is superintendent of Evergreen cemetery, and one brother, Fred LIPPITT, of Fairfield.
