John LeRoy PAGE, 80, of Galesburg, Ill., died at 3:40 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 16, 2011, at Cottage Hospital in Galesburg, Ill.

A Masonic memorial service will be held at a later date. The body has been cremated.

Mr. PAGE was born Sept. 22, 1930, in Galesburg, Ill., the son of Robert and Violet E. SWAN-EKSTROM PAGE. He married Betty J. HERINGTON in May 1954.

Mr. PAGE graduated from Galesburg High School in 1948 and St. Ambrose College in 1961. He worked in industrial administration at Alcoa Aluminum of America in Riverdale, retiring in 1990.

Mr. PAGE served in the United States Army Artiller 40th Infantry Division from 1951-1953.

He belonged to Methodist and Unitarian churches and Masonic lodges in Bettendorf and Galesburg.

Survivors include one son, the Rev. Stephen PAGE of Fairfield; two daughers, Charlotte E. FLANAGAN and husband Michael of Houston, Texas, and Edith E. AGAN of Brooklyn Park, Minn.; three grandsons; and three brothers.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
